Matrubhumi Fresh Agro Producer Companylimited

We are located in the village of Chorade in the Khatav taluka of Satara district. Our company, Matrubhumi Fresh Agro, is run by a group of us who live and work right here. Shankar Keru Pisal is one of the main people helping keep things organized, and we often use his place as a meeting point. Being in Satara, we have some good land but the markets can be far away. That is why we started this producer company. We wanted to make sure the fresh stuff we grow actually stays fresh by the time it gets to someone's table. We don't have a lot of expensive equipment or a big warehouse. It is mostly about coordinating the harvest and finding trucks that will take our produce at a fair price. We are just local farmers, so we don't use a lot of big words or fancy talk. We just know how to grow things and how to help each other when the work gets too heavy. Sometimes we run into trouble with the paperwork or the government rules, but we figure it out as we go. It is a way for the families in Chorade to have a bit more stability. We are proud of what we grow and we just want to keep doing it the right way. If you are ever in the Khatav area, you’ll see us out there in the fields.
