Down in Satara, in a small place called Randullabad, you will find us at House Number 307. This is the home of Krushikrupa Farmers Producer Company Limited. We are located in the Koregaon taluka, which is a beautiful part of the country but the work is hard. Farming in Satara means you are always at the mercy of the weather. We aren't a company with a lot of money or big machines. We are just a group of local farmers who live in the village and decided to work under one name. Our office is basically just a room where we can sit down and talk without the wind blowing everything away. We don't have a website with fancy photos or a person answering the phone with a script. When you talk to us, you are talking to the people who are actually doing the work. We started this because we needed a way to help each other out in Randullabad. It can be tough to get things done when you are all on your own, so having this group makes us feel a bit stronger. We spend our days checking on the fields and then coming back to the house to see what needs to be handled for the company. It is a quiet life for the most part, but there is always something to do. We just keep moving forward, one day at a time, right here in Koregaon.
