Jivshrusti Farmers Producer Company Limited is our local group located at Gat No. / S. No. 135At Post Anawadi, Wai. We are just a collective of farmers from the Wai area. We decided to start this company to help ourselves with the business side of farming. Usually, each farmer has to handle everything alone, but now we do it together. Our office is right there at the post in Anawadi. It’s a functional space, nothing special to look at, but it works for what we need. We spend most of our time dealing with the soil and the crops. Wai is a beautiful place, but the work is hard. We have to deal with the markets and the transport, which can be a real pain. By having Jivshrusti, we can share the costs and the effort. We don't use big words or have fancy brochures. We just talk to each other and get the work done. Sometimes we meet under the trees to discuss the next planting season. The paperwork at the office at Gat No. 135 is just something we have to do. Most of us have been in Anawadi our whole lives. We know the land and we know each other. This company is just our way of making sure we can keep farming for years to come. It’s a simple life, but we like it and it feels right for our families here.
