Jaibhavani Agro High-Tech Farmersproducer Company Limited is located at Milkat No. 107 in Chinchani. That’s in the Khatav area of Satara. Despite the "High-Tech" in our name, we’re actually quite a down-to-earth group. We do try to use better tools and newer ways of farming, but at the end of the day, it’s still about getting your hands dirty in the soil. Chinchani is a good place to be, and our office is right there in the village so farmers can reach us easily. We don’t have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures. Most of our news spreads by word of mouth at the local market. We spend our time checking on the crops and making sure the irrigation is working like it should. Sometimes the technology we try to use is a bit temperamental, and we have to spend hours fixing it, but that’s part of the process. We’re just a group of local farmers who wanted to do things a bit differently to see if we could get better results. It’s been a learning curve for all of us. We aren't experts in everything, but we know our land and we know what it needs. We just keep plugging away, day after day, hoping for a good harvest. It is just about keeping the tradition alive while trying some new things in the field.
