Hiraji Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of Lakhandur in the Bhandara district. We use Kisan Bhendarkar's place in Virlee as our main point of contact. It’s a quiet area, and most of us here have known each other since we were kids. Farming is the main thing everyone does in this village, so it made sense to finally organize ourselves into a proper company. We spend a lot of time talking about the paddy fields and the different issues that pop up with every season. Sometimes the pests are bad, or the market is just too far away to make a decent profit. By sticking together as a group, we find it a bit easier to get things done. We aren't professional businessmen or anything. We are just people who know how to plow a field and harvest a crop. The office is really just a room where we keep our records and meet to discuss what seeds to buy. It’s a very local thing, focused on our small corner of the world here in 441803. We don't have any big secrets or special methods, just the usual way of doing things that’s been passed down. It’s hard work, and some days are better than others, but having the company helps us feel a bit more secure about the future of our farms. We just take it one day at a time.
