Frescos Food Producer Company Limited is based out of Satara. Specifically, we are at H No 2 in Asare, which is at Vinayak Narayan Mandhre’s place. It’s a bit different from a big city factory because we are right there in the local community. Satara has a lot of green around it, and being in a village like Asare means we are close to where the food actually comes from. Our day usually starts early. Since we are a producer company, we deal directly with the stuff grown around here. It’s a simple operation. We use the space we have to sort through things and get them ready. There isn’t a lot of fancy technology, just basic, honest work. You might see a few of us sitting around a table working on paperwork or checking the quality of a batch. It’s a quiet spot compared to the big industrial zones. Sometimes the neighbors stop by to chat or see what we are up to. We don’t have a big sign or a lobby. It’s just a house and a workspace combined into one. The pace of life here is a bit slower, which helps us focus on what we are doing without the distractions of the city. We just want to get the local produce out to people who need it. It’s a small team, and we all pitch in with whatever needs doing, whether it’s cleaning up or loading boxes. It is just how we work. Some days are long during harvest, but that is the way it goes.
