Our business is located in Sambalpur, specifically in the Cheruapada area of Khetrajpur. We have an office on the seventh floor of a building, unit 727, where Pradip Lath manages things. It’s a bit of a different view from up there compared to being down on the farm. We deal with dairy and eco-friendly farming practices. It’s a mix of managing the actual cows and milk production while also trying to keep things environmentally sensible. We’ve been operating in Sambalpur for some time now. The dairy side of things is a 24-hour job because the animals don't care what time it is. We have people working at the farm site and then some of us handle the distribution and sales from the office. It can get pretty hectic when the trucks are late or if there's an issue with the cooling tanks. We don't use any fancy marketing slogans; we just try to get the milk from the farm to the customer as quickly as possible. The "eco" part of our name means we try to be careful with how we use the land and manage waste. It’s not always easy and it usually costs more, but it feels like the right way to do things. We’re just a local company trying to run a clean and honest dairy business in this part of Orissa. Sometimes the elevator in the building breaks, which is a real pain, but we manage.
