Basudha Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our group is set up over in Mahulpali, which is a part of the Tangarpali block. You can find us at Khata No-102/33, on Plot No. 465/1212. It is right near the main village area. We called ourselves Basudha because, for us, everything comes back to the land and the soil we work on every day. Most of the people involved in this company are just local farmers who have been working these specific fields for as long as they can remember. We started this whole thing because it is just getting harder and harder to do everything by yourself these days. We share ideas about what to plant and try to buy our supplies together so the costs don't eat up all our money. It is just a practical way to manage the hard work. Some of the guys spend all their time out in the hot sun, and then we come together in the evenings to talk about the business side of the farm. The office is not much to look at, just a quiet place to keep our Khata records and plan for the next big harvest. We handle things like getting seeds and maybe some shared equipment when we can finally afford it. It is a local effort through and through, and we try to keep things honest and simple for everyone. Everyone knows everyone else in Mahulpali, so we just work with our neighbors like we always have. It is just how life is here.
