We are located in Sambalpur, specifically in the Ainthapali area. Our office is in Vijay Bhawan, which is easy to find because it sits right behind the ICICI Bank. Anima Agrotech Producer Company Limited was set up to help with the agricultural work people do around here. Sambalpur is a busy place, and there are many farmers who need a central spot to organize their supplies and sales. We aren't doing anything groundbreaking, just the daily work of running an agro business. Some days are slow, others we are running around trying to fix equipment or check on crops. Being in the city helps with logistics, but our hearts are really out in the fields. We talk to a lot of people every day. Some people come in asking for advice on fertilizers, others want to know about prices. It’s a lot of talking and a lot of paperwork. We don't use much fancy language because that doesn't grow food. We just want to make sure the work gets done and everyone stays in business. Orissa has good land if you treat it right. We try to do our part from this little spot behind the bank. It's not always easy, but it's what we know how to do. Most of us grew up around farms, so this felt like the right thing to start. We stay open late sometimes when the harvest is coming in and things get real busy. It is just the way we work here.
