Dhankauda Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our group is located at Plot No-295 in Govindpali, right near Chiplima. Living out here in the Burla area means everything revolves around the land and the water. Dhankauda Farmer Producer Company Limited is really just a collection of us neighbors trying to manage our farming better. The house at number 6 serves as our main spot. It’s not some big corporate building; it’s where we sit down and figure out who is planting what. We deal with the daily chores of farming, from getting the soil ready to finally seeing something grow. Sometimes the power goes out, or the transport is late, but we just deal with it as it comes. Basantpur is a good place to be, and the people here know each other well. We aren’t trying to change the world, just trying to make sure our families can get by from what we grow. Most days, you’ll find some of us near the fields or at the plot talking about the harvest. It’s a lot of physical labor, and our hands are usually dirty. That’s how it should be when you work with the earth. We don't use big words or have complicated plans. We just want to get the work done and hope the season is kind to us. It's a humble way to live, but it's ours, and we stick together through the dry spells and the rainy ones too.
