About Hitech Granites – Building & Construction Material in Salem
Our shop is located at No. 170 Sanyasigundu. It’s a busy spot where we keep our stock of granite slabs. We’ve got stacks of them lined up, and they all have different patterns and colors. No two pieces ever look quite the same, which is the interesting part of the job. We spend most of our day moving these things around with the forklift. You have to be very careful; one wrong move and everything breaks or someone gets hurt. The guys working here have been doing this for many years. We know the weight of the stone just by looking at the thickness. People from the neighborhood stop by often. Sometimes they just want a small piece for a doorstep or a shelf. We try to find something in the scrap pile for them if they don't need a whole slab. The office is just a small room with a fan that squeaks every time it turns. We keep the paperwork in folders that have seen better days. It’s a practical setup for a stone yard. Sanyasigundu has a lot of businesses like ours, so there’s always noise and movement on the street. We don't mind the chaos. It feels like things are getting done. We don't have a big website or a lot of advertisements. Most people find us because they saw the slabs from the road. We just focus on keeping the yard organized and making sure the stone goes out in one piece.
