Raj Marbles

Raj Marbles is right there at 32, Bye Pass Road in Alagapuram, near the bus stand. It’s a convenient spot because people can see us as they go about their day. We’ve got piles of marble slabs everywhere. It’s not the cleanest place because of all the stone dust, but that’s just how it is in this business. We don’t try to act like a big corporate office. We’re just a local shop selling marble to anyone who needs it for their home. Being near the bus stand means it’s always loud and there’s always someone stopping by to ask a question. We help them out as best as we can. We’ve seen plenty of trends come and go, but marble stays pretty steady. We don't give long sales pitches. We just show the stone, tell the price, and figure out the transport. Sometimes the colors don't match perfectly between slabs, and we make sure to point that out. It’s natural material, after all. We’re just regular folks working on the Bye Pass Road. If you need some stone for a project, we’re usually around to show you what’s in the yard. We aren't fancy, but we know our marbles and we're here every day. It's a lot of heavy lifting but it's what we do. We just keep the yard open and the stock ready for whenever someone needs it.
