Sakthi Granite

We are Sakthi Granite located right at 97 West Main Road in Mettur. It is a good spot for us because the road is wide enough for the heavy deliveries to come in without blocking everything up. We have been in Mettur for a long time and seen the town grow. Our day starts quite early in the morning. We open up the gates and start looking at the granite we have to process for the day. It is not glamorous work by any means. There is a lot of water and stone dust involved in everything we do here. We are just local people trying to earn a living by selling stone to the neighborhood. Most of our customers are folks from nearby who are building a small house or fixing up a kitchen. They come to West Main Road and we talk about what color they want for their floors. We don't have any big brochures or sales pitches to give. We just show the stone and tell them how much it costs per foot. The granite is very solid and we have to take great care when we are moving it because it can crack if you are not careful with the machines. We have some equipment that makes a lot of noise but the neighbors are used to it by now. Being at number 97 makes us easy to find if you are coming through the main part of Mettur. We keep things simple here.
