K M B Granites

Started on Bharathi Street in Swarnapuri a good while back. It is usually pretty busy around Five Roads where we are located. We just have the granite slabs lined up here at 4/59. Sometimes the sun hits the stones and it gets really hot on the street. People from around the neighborhood stop by to look at the different colors we have. It is not a big fancy place, just a regular shop where we move heavy things all day. Most mornings start with clearing the dust off the top pieces because the road traffic brings in a lot of it. We spend a lot of time just talking to folks who are building their first small house or just fixing a kitchen. You get used to the noise of the trucks going by. It is a lot of physical work, lifting and showing the slabs one by one. Sometimes the rain makes everything slippery, so we have to be careful. We have been at this address for a bit now, and most locals know where the shop is. It is just us here, working through the day, making sure the stone is what people need for their floors or counters. No big office or anything, just the yard and the Bharathi Street air. It gets quiet in the evenings, which is nice after the machines and the traffic. That is pretty much how things go for us at K M B Granites.
