Ellappa Granite

Ellappa Granite is located right at House No. 37 on R. Mugapilayar Koil Street in Gugai. It’s a local neighborhood, and we’ve been part of it for a long time. Working out of a house address makes things feel a bit more personal, I think. We deal with granite, which is pretty much what everyone in this trade does around here. It’s a messy job sometimes with the dust and the heavy lifting. We don’t have a flashy showroom. Most of our work is done right here in Gugai, talking to neighbors and local contractors who need stone. The street can be narrow, so when we have deliveries, it takes some maneuvering. Our days are spent getting the granite cut and ready for whoever needs it. There’s no big corporate strategy here. Mostly, we wake up, open the doors, and get to work. Sometimes we drink tea out front and talk to the folks passing by the Koil street. It’s a quiet way to run a business, but it works for us. Knowing the granite we sell is solid matters because we check it ourselves. If you’re looking for us, just find House No. 37. We’re usually around, either working in the back or helping someone pick out a slab. It’s honest work and we enjoy being part of the community here. There isn't much else to it really.
