Dharan Natural Stone Park

We are located at number 77, very close to Dharan Hospital in Seelanaickenpatti. People usually use the hospital as a landmark to find us. Dharan Natural Stone Park isn’t really a park in the way you’d think. It’s a large yard filled with all kinds of natural stones. We have rocks, pebbles, and larger slabs spread out across the property. It’s a bit of a walk to see everything. I spend most of my day outside with the customers. Seelanaickenpatti is a growing area, so we see a lot of new construction happening nearby. Many people come in looking for stones for their gardens or for the front of their houses. We try to keep a good variety so there’s something for everyone. It’s a family-run business, so you’ll usually find one of us hanging around the entrance. The sun can be quite strong out in the yard, so we have a small shaded area where we sit and talk. We don't have any fancy sales pitches. We just let the stones speak for themselves. If someone likes a particular color or texture, we help them figure out how much they need. We’ve been here for several years and know the local community well. It’s a peaceful enough job, just working with nature and the people who live around here.
