The Food Lover & Turnlip Lounge

We are located on the first floor of the Shree Krishna Complex on Ratu Road. The Food Lover & Turnlip Lounge is what we call it, though most people just say the place near Kishori Lal Yadav Chowk. Ranchi is a growing city, and Ratu Road is always moving. We decided to take a spot on the first floor to get a bit away from the dust of the street. It’s a decent space where we put in some work to make it look okay. We are just regular people running a kitchen in 834001. We don't have a fancy story about why we started. We just liked the idea of having a place where people can eat and hang out. The lounge part is just some seating where you can rest after being out in the traffic. We do all the prep work ourselves every morning. Sometimes the elevator in the complex is a bit slow, so people take the stairs. We see a lot of students and office workers from around Ratu Road. It is a simple life, cooking and serving. We don't use any high-tech systems, just a notebook for orders and a stove that works hard. We are just happy to be part of the local scene here near the chowk. It’s not a chain, just our own little project that we manage together every day.
