Our place, Ranchi Darbar, is situated in the Harmu Housing Colony, right at Shahjanand Chowk. If you know the Laxmi building, you know where we are. This part of Ranchi is mostly residential, so we get a lot of families and people who live nearby coming in. It’s not a big, flashy place with neon lights or anything like that. We just have a simple setup where people can come and eat without making a big deal out of it. The traffic around the chowk can be a bit much in the mornings and evenings, so it gets noisy inside sometimes. We focus on the food and not much else. The tables are basic, and the service is just us bringing out whatever is ready from the kitchen. Sometimes the wait is a little long if we are short-handed, but people around here are usually patient with us. We’ve been part of this colony for a while now. We see kids growing up and old folks taking their daily walks past our door. It feels like we are just another part of the neighborhood. We don't spend money on ads or anything like that; word of mouth is usually how people find us. The kitchen stays busy, and the smell of spices usually hangs around the door all day. It’s a straightforward business, no frills or extras. We just open the doors and get to work every day.
