Lucky Catering

We are located on Lower Chutia Namkun Road in Ranchi. It’s a busy spot near the Saraswati Shishu Mandir Chowk. You can usually find us around the large cooking pots and big gas cylinders. Catering is mostly about waking up very early and getting the vegetables from the local market. We spend a lot of time in the kitchen area. The smell of spices is always there in our clothes and hair. It’s a simple setup in Chutia. We have several sets of plates and spoons that we keep in big wooden crates stacked high. Sometimes we have to scrub the heavy pans for hours to get them clean. Our staff is just a group of local guys who know how to handle the heat of the kitchen. We don't have fancy uniforms, just practical clothes for hard work. The road outside can get quite crowded when the school lets out in the afternoon. We have to time our deliveries just right or we get stuck in the jam. It’s not a quiet job. There’s always the sound of knives on chopping boards or water running. We’ve been at this location for a long time now. People in the neighborhood know us by name. We don't do any big advertising. If someone needs food for a wedding or a small party, they just walk in. We talk about the menu, check the dates, and get to work. It’s just about making sure there’s enough.
