Regional (Junior) College Of Science & Technology

Located in Nimapara, Puri, the Regional (Junior) College Of Science & Technology is a place for students who are serious about their science subjects. We are in the 752106 area of Odisha. The college isn't very large compared to some others, but we have the necessary labs for physics and chemistry work. It’s a bit of a quiet spot compared to the main Puri town which is always crowded. Most of our students come from the nearby rural areas. They arrive on cycles or take the local buses that stop nearby. We have a small staff of teachers who live around here. The building has seen many batches of students come and go over the years. We have a notice board that stays pretty busy with exam schedules and various government notices. We don't have a fancy website or a dedicated marketing department. If you want to know about us, you usually just ask someone in the Nimapara market. We spend our days making sure the labs are stocked and the students are actually attending their lectures. The climate can be quite salty being near the coast, so we have to paint the gates and windows every few years to stop the rust from taking over. It’s an honest place. We don't promise any miracles, just a place to sit down and study science. The library is small, but it has the books the students need for their board exams. We just keep our heads down and do our jobs.
