Regional College

Regional College is located out in Nimapara. It’s a bit of a distance from the main Puri town, but that makes it a quieter place for the students. We’ve been operating here for a while, serving the 752106 area. The building has several floors for different classes. Students come in from the nearby villages and the town itself. It is a real mix of people. Some travel by bus and others use bicycles. A massive campus with fancy lawns isn't something we have here. It is more practical than that. Our focus stays on getting the syllabus finished and making sure the exams are handled properly. The staff is a small group. We all know each other’s names and usually have tea together in the afternoons. It’s a very human sort of environment. Big marketing departments aren't our thing. We just exist for the students who need an education nearby. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to wait it out or move the chairs near the windows. That’s just life in this part of the country. We don't make a big deal out of it. As a local college, we do what we can for the young people in Nimapara. It’s steady work and being a part of the community here is nice. There isn't much more to it than that, really. We just keep going every day and try to keep things organized for the next batch of students.
