Kanas (Degree) College

Kanas (Degree) College is located right in Kanas, Puri. We are a local institution that helps students around here get their degrees without having to travel too far. The building has been here for years, and it shows a little bit, but it is our home. We have classrooms where the students sit for their lectures and a small library where they can study. It’s not like those big universities in the city. We are a bit more relaxed here. The staff knows the students because many of them grew up in this area. We deal with the usual things, like fixing the roof after the rain or making sure there is enough chalk for the boards. Puri can be a busy place, but Kanas feels a bit more grounded. Students come here after they finish school to figure out what they want to do next. We don't promise anything fancy. We just provide the space and the teachers for the lessons. Sometimes we sit outside in the shade and talk about the upcoming exams. It is a quiet kind of life at the college. We see students graduate and move on to jobs or more study, and that makes us feel like we are doing something useful. We are just a part of the landscape here in 752017. We keep the doors open for anyone who wants to learn.
