Dayavihar (Degree) College

Down in Kanas, Puri, you’ll find Dayavihar (Degree) College. It’s a local place where students from the surrounding villages come to get their higher education. We have different courses like arts and science, mostly just the standard degrees people need around here. The building isn't anything super modern, but it does the job for the daily classes. Life here moves at a bit of a slower pace compared to the big cities. You see students hanging out in the hallways between their lectures or sitting under the trees outside when it’s not too hot. We’ve got the office where all the paperwork happens, and it usually stays pretty busy with registrations and exams. Puri is 752017 if you need the postal code for anything. Most of the people working here are from this part of Odisha, so there’s a real community feel to the place. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us teachers and the admin staff trying to keep things running smoothly every day. Sometimes the power goes out, or we have to move classes around because of the weather, but we manage. It’s a practical school for local kids who want to stay close to home while they study for their degrees. It’s been part of the landscape in Kanas for quite some time now. We don't have fancy dorms or anything extra, just classrooms and a place for people to learn.
