Sarala +2 Science Residential College

Over here in Kakatpur, Puri, we run Sarala +2 Science Residential College. It’s a bit different because the students actually live here with us. That means the day doesn't really end at 4 PM like a regular school. We have the dorms and the dining hall, and things can get pretty lively when everyone is out of class. Since it’s a science college, there’s a lot of time spent in the labs. You’ll often see students hovering over their practical notebooks or trying to figure out some chemistry experiment. Living together means they make close friends, but it also means there’s a lot of managing to do, like making sure everyone eats on time and stays healthy. The location in Puri is decent, not too far from the main road but quiet enough for studying. The teachers live nearby or stay on campus too, so they’re always around if someone has a question about physics or math. It’s a busy life for the kids, balancing their studies with being away from home for the first time. We have a set routine for meals and study hours, which helps keep things from getting too messy. It isn't always easy, and sometimes the electricity goes out or the water pump acts up, but we manage. It’s a practical place for students who want to focus on their science subjects before they head off to university. It’s hard work for everyone, but we get through it together.
