Vira Art Gallery

Vira Art Gallery is located in the Camp area. We have been here for a good while. It's a simple art gallery, nothing too fancy or intimidating. We just like art and we wanted a place to show it. Camp is a great neighborhood with a lot of soul, and we feel at home here. The gallery isn't very big, but it has enough space for what we need. Most of the time, it's just one or two of us here. We handle everything from hanging the pictures to talking to anyone who walks through the door. It’s a very hands-on job. We don't have a corporate mission or anything like that. We just want to keep the gallery going. Sometimes the days are long, especially when we are changing an exhibit. We do all the work ourselves, even the cleaning and the unpacking. Camp can be busy, but our gallery is a bit of a quiet spot. We don't use a lot of marketing talk. We just show the art as it is. It’s a local business run by people who actually care about the neighborhood. If you're walking around Camp, you might stumble upon us. We’re just a normal part of the local scene, doing our thing day by day. It is not about being famous or making it huge. We just like the pieces we have and the people who visit us.
