You can find Srujan Art Gallery over at 250/B on Gendi Gate Road in Narayan Peth. It’s a quiet enough place where we keep various pieces of art and frames. We’ve been in this part of Narayan Peth for quite some time now. The space isn’t very large, but we make use of every wall we have. Usually, it’s just one or two of us here managing the floor. We get people walking in from the street who are just curious, and then we have the folks who come looking for something specific for their walls at home. Gendi Gate Road can get a bit crowded during the day, so it’s nice and calm once you step inside the gallery. We don't do big events or anything flashy. We just put the art up and let people look around at their own pace. Sometimes we’re busy moving things around or cleaning the glass on the frames. It’s a lot of manual work that people don’t always see. We like being in this neighborhood because it feels established and real. There’s no corporate vibe here at all. It’s just a local gallery run by people who live nearby. We open the doors in the morning and stay until the evening. If the lights are on, we are open. It’s pretty simple. We don't have many rules here, just come in and look if you want to.
