Deep Art Gallery

Deep Art Gallery is located in Gokhale Nagar, right on Street No 1 at the address 1038/8. It is not a huge gallery like the ones you see in the center of the city. Our space is quite modest, filled with frames and canvases that we’ve collected or worked on over time. I spend most of my time in the back room where I do the framing and the cutting. Gokhale Nagar is a relatively quiet neighborhood, so we don't get a huge amount of foot traffic, but the people on Street No 1 always wave when they walk by. The shop 1038/8 has a big window in the front, but the light is sometimes blocked by the trees outside. I keep a few old brushes and some jars of paint on the counter, even if I’m not using them that day. It feels more like a workshop than a gallery sometimes because of the sawdust and the smell of wood glue. We don’t have any fancy lighting systems, just some basic tubes on the ceiling that hum a little bit when they’ve been on too long. My daughter helps me with the bookkeeping on the weekends because I’m not very good with the numbers. Deep Art Gallery is just a small local business where we take our time with things. We don't rush, and we don't try to be anything we aren't. It’s just a place for art and frames in a quiet corner of Gokhale Nagar.
