Umesh Mahadik

Umesh Mahadik is based over in Pune, specifically in Bibvewadi. We are located in Chintamani Nagar Phase 2, in the Yashodhan Society. It’s building B12, flat number 1. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for us to move things in and out. Pune is a bit more relaxed than Mumbai, but Bibvewadi still stays quite busy during the day. Our space is really just a flat that we’ve converted to fit our needs. It still feels like a home in some ways, which we like. We have a small kitchen area where we make our own tea and lunch. It’s a very simple operation. There are no fancy logos on the door or glass partitions between desks. We all just sit together and talk through what needs to happen. Umesh is usually the one making sure everything is on track. We don't have a marketing department or a fancy brochure to give people. If you want to know what we do, you just have to ask us. We try to be straightforward and not overcomplicate things. The neighborhood is mostly families, so it stays pretty quiet in the evenings after we finish up. We aren't trying to grow into some massive corporation. We just want to do good work and keep our local customers happy. It’s a practical way to live and work, and it suits our personalities just fine. We just take it one day at a time.
