The Craft Studio

The Craft Studio is tucked away here in Pune, and it’s basically exactly what the name says. It’s a studio where we make things. It’s not a huge factory or a retail chain. It’s just a space filled with supplies, half-finished projects, and a lot of creative energy. Some days the place is a total disaster with scraps of paper or bits of clay everywhere, but that’s just how we work. Pune has a good vibe for this kind of thing, and we get a lot of people who are interested in making something with their own hands. We spend our time testing out new ideas or finishing up orders that people have placed. There’s no big marketing team here; it’s just us doing the work. Sometimes we stay late because a project is going well, and other times we just sit and drink coffee while looking at a blank wall for inspiration. It’s a very human way to live. We don't have a strict corporate schedule. We work when there’s work to be done, and we make sure things are made right. The floor usually needs a sweep, and the shelves are always overflowing with jars and tools. It’s a bit chaotic, but it’s our version of a job. People know us as the local spot where stuff actually gets made, and we’re happy with that. We just enjoy the process of creating things every single day.
