Sou Madhuri Dev

We are over here in Sadashiv Peth on Kuppuswamy Naidu Street. It is a bit tucked away on the 5th Main, so sometimes people miss the turn when they are coming down the road for the first time. Sou Madhuri Dev is really just a small setup we have in this part of town. Most days it is quiet here, except when the afternoon sun hits the front door and things get quite warm inside. We have been in this spot for a while now. The building is old but it stays sturdy through the rains. We keep our tools and papers organized in the back room, though sometimes the filing gets a bit behind when we are busy with other things. There is a small tea shop down the road that everyone around here goes to during their breaks. Our neighbors are mostly families who have lived in this part of Sadashiv Peth for decades. You can hear the sounds of the street throughout the day, people shouting or bikes going past the window. It is a simple place without any fancy signs or a big lobby area. Usually, there is just one or two of us around to answer the door or pick up the phone. We keep the windows open when the weather allows, which lets in a lot of dust, but it is better than sitting in the dark with the fans on. If you are coming down 5th Main, just look for the number 1.
