Shree Mukerkar Arts

You’ll find Shree Mukerkar Arts at 586 Ganesh Peth. We are right at the back of the Sai Mandir and behind Bora Hospital. It’s a bit of a tucked-away spot, but once you find the temple, we are easy to spot. We do things a bit differently here. It’s more of a workshop than an office. There is always some kind of project going on, and things can get a little cluttered with materials and tools. We don’t mind, though. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a clean showroom. We just want to get the art and the work done right. Ganesh Peth is a crowded area, but we like the buzz of it. Being near the hospital and the temple means there are always people around. We started this small because we wanted to focus on the craft. We don't have a board of directors or anything like that. It's just us making things. Sometimes we get caught up in a piece of work and lose track of what time it is. That's the way it goes when you enjoy what you do. We don't use fancy marketing talk. We just show people what we've made. If they like it, they take it. We've been behind Bora Hospital for years. People in the neighborhood know us. We just keep our heads down and keep creating. It’s a good life for anyone who likes working with their hands.
