Padmakar Yevlekar

Most people know us by the Yevlekar Building right here on Ghuma Road in Budhwar Peth. We have been around this corner for quite a while now, seeing the neighborhood change as the years go by. It is always busy outside on the street, especially during the festival seasons when the crowds get really thick and movement becomes slow. Padmakar Yevlekar is just a small setup, nothing fancy or overly corporate. We just open up the doors every morning, sweep the front, and get to work without much fuss. People stop by because they know exactly where to find us in this busy patch of the city. It is a bit of an old building, number 823 to be exact, so it has its little quirks like the narrow stairs and the way the light hits the floor in the afternoon. We do not spend much time on fancy decorations or big signs that glow at night. Most of our day is just spent talking to the regulars or handling the usual paperwork that comes through the door. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the traffic from Budhwar Peth coming through, but you get used to that after a week or two of working here. We like being part of this local patch. There isn't any big strategy here, just honest work and making sure we stay consistent for anyone who walks in to see us. If you are walking down Ghuma Road, you will probably see someone from our team standing by the entrance. That is just how it is around here.
