Oorja Works Off Arts

Our little spot is over on K Kamaraj Road, right near Green Park Society in Bibvewadi. It’s more of a studio than an office. We do a lot of different art projects here at Oorja Works Off Arts. Sometimes it’s messy with paint and materials all over the floor. We aren't the type to have everything perfectly organized or color-coded. We just liked making things and decided to do it here. The light in this part of Bibvewadi is actually pretty good in the afternoons. We spend a lot of time just trying out new ideas or working on pieces for local folks. It’s quiet mostly, except when we have the music on or the neighbors are being loud. We don't have a big sales team or anything like that. It’s just us working with our hands. People from the society often walk past and peek in to see what we’re up to this week. We’ve been in this location for a bit now, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the street. It’s a nice neighborhood to be in. We do all sorts of stuff, from small sketches to bigger installations when there's room in the back. We don't follow a strict corporate schedule. Sometimes we work late if a project is going well, other times we close up early to go grab food nearby. It’s a very simple way of running a business, but it works.
