Neelima Art Gallery

Neelima Art Gallery is located on the second floor of the Benaka Complex in Shaniwar Peth. We are over in the Kaikondrahalli area. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs but once you are here it is a nice quiet space. We have a lot of different pieces hanging on the walls and some sitting on the floor because we ran out of space. It is not a giant museum or anything like that. It is just a local gallery where we show things we like. The light in the complex is pretty good in the afternoons which helps. We have been in Shaniwar Peth for a while now and we know the other shop owners in the building. It is a bit of a hidden spot if you do not know what you are looking for. People usually stumble upon us while they are visiting other businesses in the Benaka Complex. We do not have a big staff or anything. Usually it is just one or two of us here keeping an eye on things and moving frames around. It is a bit dusty sometimes but that is just part of having an old space. We like the character of the building and how it feels tucked away from the main road. If you want to see some art you just come up to the second floor and walk right in.
