Nayab Arts

Nayab Arts is located at 204 Mangalwar Peth near Maldhakka. This part of the city is always buzzing with activity which we like. Our shop is a bit small but it is filled with all the tools and materials we use every day. It often smells like paint or wood depending on what we are working on at the time. We have been in Mangalwar Peth for years and have seen the neighborhood change a lot. The walls of the shop are covered in sketches and notes we have made over time. It is not the neatest place you will ever see but it is where the work gets done. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to write fancy things for us. It is just us and our hands making things. Sometimes the floor is covered in shavings and we have to sweep up three times a day. We have a small radio that usually plays local stations in the background. People come in to see what we are making or just to escape the heat for a minute. We don't use any high-tech gadgets just the old fashioned ways that work for us. It is a practical life and we enjoy the process of creating something from scratch right here at Maldhakka. It is just honest work in a busy part of town. We have a few old brushes that we can't bring ourselves to throw away. The lighting isn't great but we know where everything is even in the dark. It is just our messy little creative space.
