Navrang

You can find Navrang over in Desrai Nagar, right on the Pune Saswad Road. It is a bit of a trek for some, but we are easy to spot near Gupta Bhavan. Our address also connects us to Ahmedabad Street and Masjid Bunder in the Hadapsar area. It sounds like a lot of places at once, but we are right here in the middle of all that activity. The shop itself is full of color, which I guess matches the name Navrang. We deal with a lot of different items depending on the season. The road outside is always busy with trucks and cars heading toward Saswad, so there is a constant hum of traffic in the background. We have a small bench out front where we sit sometimes when things are quiet. Inside, the walls are lined with boxes and displays. It is not the most modern looking place, but it serves its purpose for the people around Hadapsar. We spend our mornings dusting off the displays because the road brings in a lot of grit. Sometimes we have tea with the guys from the neighboring shops while we wait for the first customers to arrive. It is a steady life here on Pune Saswad Road. We just keep the doors open and see who comes through. There is always something to reorganize or a delivery to check in from the street side. We have been in this spot long enough to know everyone.
