Manmoti Varieties

Manmoti Varieties is located on C T Street 1261, right in the Deccan Gymkhana area. It’s the kind of shop where you find a bit of everything under one roof. We have shelves packed with small household things, gift items, and whatever else people around here seem to need for their daily lives. It started out quite small and we just kept adding more stuff over the years as people asked for it. Some days it feels like there isn't enough space for all the stock we carry. People stop by while they’re out doing their other shopping on the weekends. It’s a busy street, so there is always someone popping in to ask for a specific thing they can't find elsewhere. We try to keep track of where everything is, but sometimes it takes a minute to find that one particular item hidden in a corner. We don't do big advertisements or anything like that. People just know we are here in the Deccan area. It’s a local place through and through. Sometimes kids come in for school stationery, and other times it's older folks looking for something small for their kitchen. We see all kinds of people. The shop has a certain smell of paper and plastic, which is just how these variety stores are. It’s not a big corporate store, just a regular place where you can get your errands done. We spend a lot of time organizing things. It’s steady work. We like being part of this neighborhood.
