Mahi'S The Gallery

Mahi'S The Gallery sits right near the Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital road. It’s actually spread across J-5, 6, and 7 in the Yashraj Erandrawane Housing Society. Having three units makes the space feel a bit spread out, and sometimes we forget where we put things. Erandwane is a busy part of Pune, especially with the hospital so close by. You see a lot of people walking past our windows all day. The shop itself is a bit of a mix of everything. We don't have any professional designers who set up the displays, so we just put things where they fit. Sometimes the shelves are a bit crowded. The light coming in from the front is nice in the morning but it gets a bit dim in the back corners. We usually have the radio playing quietly or just listen to the sound of the traffic outside. The society residents know us well, and they often stop in just to say hello while they are out for a walk. It’s a bit dusty because the road is always being worked on, but we try to wipe things down when we have a spare minute. There is no big sign that flashes, just the name on the board. We spend our time checking the stock and talking to whoever walks in. It’s a decent place to work and we like the neighborhood.
