M S Arts

If you’ve ever been to Market Yard, you know how crazy it gets with all the carts and people moving around. M S Arts is located right in the middle of that, on A M Lane. It’s a busy spot and there is always noise from the street outside. We do various types of art and sign work here. The shop is small and usually filled with scraps of paper, paint cans, and brushes. We don't have a big showroom or anything like that. Most of our work is done on a wooden table in the back where the light is better. We’ve been on A M Lane for a long time, and we know all the other shopkeepers around here. Sometimes we sit outside on a stool and watch the crowds go by while we wait for the paint to dry. It isn't a clean, modern studio like you see in magazines. It’s a working shop where things get a bit messy. There’s always dust from the market getting on things, so we spend a lot of time wiping surfaces down. We just do what we do, making signs or doing whatever art needs to be finished for the day. People know where to find us when they need something done quickly and without any attitude. It’s just a normal day at Market Yard for us, keeping busy and getting the orders out to our neighbors. We’ve been here for years and the lane is like a second home to us now.
