Nilesh Arts

Our shop, Nilesh Arts, is right across from the Radisson Hotel on the Kharadi Bypass. It's a busy road with a lot of cars going by all the time, which makes it easy for people to find us if they know the hotel. We’ve been at this spot for a good while. The space is filled with all sorts of materials and tools we use for our art and sign work. It’s usually a bit dusty because of all the cutting and painting we do, but that’s just how a workshop is. We don't really have a fancy showroom. Most people just walk in and talk to us directly about what they need. Sometimes the bypass gets really backed up with traffic in the evenings, so we end up staying a bit later to avoid the rush. We have a few benches and a lot of paint cans everywhere. We do things by hand mostly, so it takes time and a bit of patience. It’s not always perfect the first time, but we keep at it until it looks okay. My hands are usually covered in some kind of ink or paint by the end of the shift. We get all sorts of customers, some who want something small and others who have bigger projects. We just take it as it comes. It's a basic setup, nothing too special to look at from the outside, but we get the work done. The lights are a bit dim in the back, but we know where the brushes are.
