Kamini Arts

Kamini Arts is tucked away in Dhayarigaon, specifically near Akashdeep Society on the 26th Main Road. We’ve been at this spot for some time now, and it’s usually quite a creative mess inside. We have various materials and projects scattered around because that is just how we work. Being in the 9th Block means we are a bit away from the main city rush, which actually helps when we are trying to finish something detailed. It’s not a shiny gallery or a big retail chain. It is just a place where things get made. We spend most of our hours either painting, drawing, or working on whatever art pieces are currently on the table. Sometimes the floors have bits of scrap or paint on them, but that’s the reality of a working art space. Local people from the society often drop by to see what we are currently up to. We don’t have a fancy reception desk or anything. You just walk in and you’ll likely find us with our hands busy. Dhayari has its own pace, and we fit right into that. We take things as they come and focus on the craft itself. Most of our day is spent quietly working through the different stages of our projects. It’s a modest setup at 14/43, but it works for us and the people who know we are here.
