Kala Darshan

Kala Darshan is located in Anand Nivas, right near the Bank of Maharashtra in Chinchwad. We are specifically situated around Chaphekar Chowk and the Bhutdi Jhapa area. It’s a place where we keep a lot of different artistic and decorative items. The shop isn't very large, but it’s full of character. We’ve been at this location for a long time, and the neighborhood has grown up around us. There are two Bank of Maharashtra branches nearby, so people often use those as landmarks to find us. Our shop is usually a bit quiet, which I don't mind. It gives me time to arrange the items and make sure everything is displayed okay. We don't use any loud music or bright flashing lights to get attention. It’s just a calm spot where you can look at things at your own pace. The shelves are made of old wood and the floor has some scuffs, but it feels like home to me. Most of our visitors are people from Chinchwad who have been coming here for years. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the physical shop where we stand behind the counter. Sometimes we get a bit of dust on the higher shelves because it’s hard to reach, but we do our best. It’s a small, independent business and we like keeping it that way. If you’re ever near Chaphekar Chowk, you can see our door open. We stay here until the evening when the streetlights come on and things finally start to slow down.
