Indian Arts

Our shop, Indian Arts, is located at Shop No. 4 in Building Number 6 of Vaswani Nagar. If you’re familiar with Koregaon Park, you know it’s a lively part of town. We’ve been here for a while and have seen the area change quite a bit. The shop isn’t very big, but we’ve managed to fit a lot into it. We deal with various local art pieces and items. Most of our days are spent talking to people who wander in or coordinating with the folks who make the items we sell. It’s not a high-pressure environment. We like to take things as they come. Sometimes the shop gets a bit dusty because we have so many small things on display, but we try to keep on top of it. We don't use any fancy sales tactics or anything. If someone likes something, they buy it, and that’s that. We’re just regular people running a small storefront. It’s been our livelihood for years. We know the other shop owners on the block and sometimes grab tea with them. It’s a nice community to be a part of. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a social media team. We just rely on being here every day and doing what we do. It’s a simple way to run a business, and it works for us. It’s just how we’ve always done things, and we don’t see much reason to change it now.
