Ekdanta Arts

Ekdanta Arts is situated near the Race Course Circle on Old Padra Road in Kothrud. It is a nice area with a lot of trees around. We started this place because we wanted to work for ourselves. It has been a learning curve. There are days when everything goes right and days when nothing does. Our shop isn't very big but we make it work. Old Padra Road is a busy street so we get a lot of people passing by. Kothrud has grown so much since we first moved in. It used to be much quieter. Now there are cafes and shops everywhere. We just focus on our own tasks. We don't really have a boss telling us what to do every minute. It’s just us. We spend most of our time at the workbench. It’s a bit messy with tools and materials scattered around. That’s how we like it. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a shiny lobby. If you come by the Race Course Circle, you’ll find us easily. We try to be fair and just do honest work. Sometimes we lose track of time when we are busy. It’s better than being bored. We have some regular customers who have been coming for years. They know we are just regular folks. We like being part of the Kothrud community. It's a good spot and the neighbors are mostly quiet. We just keep our heads down and get through the day without making any big fuss about it.
