We are tucked away in Flat No 16 at Kadinaka on Sinhagad Road. It’s more of a workspace than a gallery, to be honest. There’s usually some project spread out on the table and bits of material here and there. It’s where the creative stuff happens. We don't keep strict office hours like a bank. Sometimes we’re here late when an idea is going well, and other times we’re out getting supplies. It’s a bit cluttered, but that’s how a studio usually looks when people are actually working. The light in Flat 16 is pretty good in the afternoons, which helps. We started this because we liked making things, and it just grew into a full-time thing. It’s not a corporate design firm. It’s just us using our hands and our tools. People find us because they heard about what we do from someone else. Sinhagad Road is always busy, but once you get inside the flat, it’s a lot quieter. We try to keep things grounded. We don't use a lot of jargon. If someone asks what we’re making, we just show them. It’s a simple life of making art and trying to pay the bills. We’ve been in this spot for a bit now and it feels like home. It’s a practical space for practical work, even if the work is art. There is usually some tea on the stove if anyone drops by for a chat.
