Dazzling Sparrow Art Studio

Dazzling Sparrow Art Studio is situated in Mohamad Wadi, at D-1. It is not your typical art gallery with white walls and spotlights. Instead, it is a working studio where things are constantly being made. There are tubes of paint, sketches, and half-finished projects lying on almost every surface. We have some large tables that have seen better days, now covered in stains and marks from years of use. The studio is where we spend most of our time, usually with some music playing in the background. It is a bit of a walk from the main road, so it stays relatively quiet, which is good when you are trying to focus on a painting or a drawing. We don't have any fancy staff or a marketing person. It is just us doing what we like to do. The floor is concrete and easy to clean, which is good because we spill things quite often. Sometimes people from the neighborhood pop their heads in to see what we are working on, and we don't mind a bit of a chat. We don't have a polished presentation or any big sales pitches. We just create things and if someone likes them, that is great. It is a simple, honest space for making art without any of the pretension you might find in other places. We just keep at it day after day because we enjoy the process of making things.
