You can find us over at Shree Krishna Empire in Purna Nagar, tucked right behind the RTO office in Chinchwad. It’s a bit of a walk up to Flat B 202, but we’ve got plenty of space for all the art stuff we keep here. The place is usually cluttered with frames, different types of glass, and stacks of backing boards. We spend a lot of time measuring things out and making sure the corners of the frames line up just right. It’s a bit dusty because of the wood cutting, so there’s always a broom leaning against the wall. We handle a lot of different pieces, from small photos to big canvases that take up the whole workbench. People from around Chinchwad come in with all sorts of things they want framed. Sometimes it's a kid's drawing and other times it's a fancy painting. We don't really have a big showroom. It’s more of a workspace where things actually get made. The light in the afternoon is pretty good for checking the colors. We have a few machines for the cutting and joining, but a lot of it is just done by hand with a hammer and some glue. It’s steady work. We’ve gotten used to the noise from the RTO office nearby. It’s just us doing our thing with the art supplies every day. Sometimes we run out of a certain molding and have to wait for the delivery.
