Art Etc

Art Etc is based at Shop No. 1 in Rahul Park. We are in the Aundh area of Pune, specifically near the Chitale Bandhu Mithaiwala in Gaikward Nagar. If you know that sweet shop, you know the smell of snacks is always in the air around here. Our shop is a bit different because we are focused on art supplies and related items. It is often a bit of a mess, with brushes, papers, and tubes of paint everywhere, but that’s just the nature of an art shop. We don’t have sleek shelves or a polished floor. It feels more like a workshop where people can come and find what they need for their next project. Aundh is a busy neighborhood with a lot of students and creative people, so we get a good mix of customers. We spend our days unpacking new stock and trying to find places to put it. Sometimes the shop feels too small for everything we have, but we manage. We aren't corporate at all; it’s usually just us chatting with someone about a specific type of paper or frame. It is a relaxed atmosphere, and we like it that way. We just keep the door open and wait to see who drops by after they get their sweets from next door. It’s a nice little corner of the city for us to be in.
