I've always liked making things with my hands since I was a kid. This shop is on Kalewadi Main Road, at D-6. It’s a busy spot in Pune. I started Anjali Artistry Creations because I needed a place to put all my supplies and actually work. It’s not a huge gallery or anything like that. It’s mostly just me and a few others working on whatever project is happening that week. We do a lot of different things, mostly stuff that people want for their homes or gifts. The shop is right there in Kalewadi, so it's easy for locals to stop in. Sometimes the floor is covered in scraps or paint, but that’s just how it goes when you’re busy. People come in asking for custom work or just to see what’s on the shelves. It’s a bit crowded inside, but it feels like a real workshop. I didn't want a place that felt like a cold store. It’s more like a hobby that turned into a real job over the years. We stay here most days until late getting orders finished for customers. It’s hard work, but seeing someone like what you made is a good feeling. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in Pune, just doing our thing here on the main road. We keep it friendly and simple for everyone who walks through the door.
