Zero Hour Bar

Zero Hour Bar is inside the Ginger Hotel over on Karuvadikuppam Main Road in Lawspet. We are in the Pondicherry area, specifically near the old Venus Theatre. It’s a straightforward hotel bar. You won't find anything too over-the-top here. We’ve got the counter, some stools, and a few tables for people to sit at. It’s a good place for people staying in the hotel or locals from Lawspet to grab a drink. We don't do any of that fancy mixology stuff you see on TV. We just serve what’s on the shelf. The lighting is a bit dim, which makes it a relaxed spot after a long day. Our team is small, just a couple of us behind the bar and someone cleaning up. We don't have a mission statement or any of that. We just open the doors and make sure there’s ice in the bin. It’s a quiet spot most of the time, though it can pick up when there’s a game on or a big group check-in at the hotel. We’ve been at this Lawspet location for a good bit now. It’s just a regular part of the neighborhood. If you are near the old theatre, we are just a short walk away. The air conditioning works well, which is a relief during the humid months in Pondy. We just keep the drinks cold and the space ready for whoever walks in.
